The Ultimate Mercy of Allah ﷻ

Allah ﷻ is the most merciful to His creation, believers & disbelievers included. He is in charge of provision and life for all of them, blesses them with nourishments, health, well-being, happiness, luxuries, wealth.

Without keeping the Islamic Golden Age (العصر الإسلامي الذهبي) - 800s to 1300s in mind, noticed how all nonbelievers across world are more successful than most of the believers, in this current era?
Look at the west, USA, UK, Canada, and the likes. They possess military, technological, capitalistic, medical, and AI supremacy, alongside research and banking dominance. Their intellectual influence has permeated every Muslim household to the point of each family in the East contains some sort of Muslim subconsciously engrained with liberalistic values who won't stop listening to music, neglect the 5 prayers, obsess themselves in fashion, all while drowning in the hedonistic hole of entertainment and social-media, while frying their dopamine receptors, and losing تقوى of Allah.
Disbelievers are fully focused in the Duniya. They neglect focusing on the Creator, their Rabb (ربهم) and our Rabb (ربنا) created us from sounding clay moulded from black mud [15:28] and regardless, subjects them to the breath of oxygen, ray of sunshine, drop of rain, moment of motherly love, act of kindness, averted tragedy, as one of the observable manifestations of this mercy. However, does that mean disbelievers don't feel the empty void in their heart? The feeling of emptiness and blankness of the Soul not recognizing their Rabb?
But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life...
[20:124]
One of Allah's 99 names is the most Just (Al-Adl), despite their disbelief, gives them the reward in the Duniya:
"Whoever desires this fleeting world ˹alone˺, We hasten in it whatever We please to whoever We will;"
But then,
then We destine them for Hell, where they will burn, condemned and rejected. [17:18]
So whenever we hear Surah Al Ala being recited in Jummah prayers, perform Tadabbur (contemplation of the meaning) of this ayah:
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ١٦
But you ˹deniers only˺ prefer the life of this world,
even though the Hereafter is far better and more lasting.
[Surah Al Ala 16-17]

Richness of the Arabic Language

Allah (الحكيم) chose the Arabic language for His final book to the mankind the Qur'an (الْقُرْآن) for a reason. While English, French, and Russian languages have around 500,000 words, 150,000 words, and 130,000 words in its vocabulary respectively, Arabic language اللغة العربية

has 12.3 million words in its own, making it the richest language in vocabulary, by far. To give you an understanding, there are around 500 names in Arabic for a lion, more than a 100 for love, 80 for a sword etc. no other language competes with Arabic in richness. Ibn Faris says, “When Allah the Exalted chose Arabic to explain (His words), it showed that the other languages, abilities and levels were below Arabic.” (As-Shahibi fi Fiqh al-Lughah, 1/4) Not knowing the Arabic language is the main why we all have sects in Islam! Especially in the Asian subcontinent, every beginner, student of knowledge is coming up with his/her own interpretation of Quranic ayahs and ahadith. The Quran was revealed in Arabic. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spoke in Arabic. The Sahabah spoke in Arabic. Start learning Arabic to understand the religion of Allah in the purest form. People read a single translation of a single translator of a Hadith or Quran ayah in English, Urdu, Hindi, Turkish, Malay, etc and misquote it in a completely different example without knowing the context of the Hadith or Ayah and the literal meaning of the Arabic words. Give at-least 30 minutes of your day in learning Arabic (MSA) / Classical Fusha. I recommend first starting with learning Arabic from the Quran. You will never recognise the beauty of Allah’s word unless you learn Arabic, the raw pure form in which the Criterion was revealed! At least learn the language to an extent to understand the context and theme of the ayah whenever the Imam recites in prayers. Umar bin al-Khattab [May Allah be pleased with him] said, تعلموا العربية فإنها تثبت العقل وتزيد في المروءة “Learn Arabic, for it strengthens the intelligence and increases one’s noble conduct” Source: Shu’ab al-Eemaan, al-Bayhaqi (4/187)

Complaint to Reddit Moderators

 Dear Moderator,

I understand that. I have updated the question. Kindly approve it in your system.

Please don't get me wrong.

For the sake of Allah, you are doing wrong here. There should be no limits to the amount of posts that can be done under r/islam, because at the end we will go to our graves, why are you limiting the amount of digital footprint a Muslim can provide in the internet for future generations to see and clarify their doubts.

Once per 2 days?

Please be joking. This is Islam, you can't limit a needy person's question. After all, these are automatically removed for moderation, what difference does it make if I ask 10 questions, after all these have to be accepted from you servants of Allah. The questions, these are from the will of Allah, why are you limiting them?

Second of all, kindly approve the many questions I asked that are pending approval, not because I'm demanding you, but it seems to me, you are doing it purposefully. I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. But please reply to me so I know where you guys are coming from.

JazakAllah khair,

Greater Fitna: Women or Wealth?

The enjoyment of ˹worldly˺ desires—women, children,1 treasures of gold and silver, fine horses, cattle, and fertile land—has been made appealing to people. These are the pleasures of this worldly life, but with Allah is the finest destination.

[Quran 3:14]

Disclaimer: This is my own interpretation of Surah Al Imran Verse 14. Don't take these as factual statements, only Allah knows the meaning behind the order of His words!

Since Allah mentioned women first in terms of the worldly desires, I guess it is the biggest trial for our Ummah

Especially now, the rise of delayed marriages causes Zina, glazing at non-mahram, breakdown of society, hyper-sexualization, due to the 'cultural' Islam that has been propagated: finish your Bachelor's Degree, get a stable job, buy a house, after all these processes, you get to marry by a feeble age 30. That's if Allah allows you to live to that age. That's clearly against the nature of basic human needs; fitrah of humans that Allah has ordained for us.

“The best people of my Umma are those who get married and have chosen their wives and the worst people of my nation are those who have kept away from marriage and are passing their lives as bachelors.”

(Mustadrakul Wasail by Muhaddith Noori, Vol 2, Pg 531).
In this modern day and age, it eliminates and extinguishes these immoral diseases of the youth:

  • It protects you from Dating
  • It protects you from committing self-pleasure
  • It creates a family
  • When a man marries a wife, he completes half his deen (the other half will never be able to be completed in this life)
  • When a man has a daughter, she opens a gate from Jannah for him

So marrying is 100% recommended, but it is not obligatory, as far as I've heard.

What is your opinion? Or, is wealth a bigger Fitna for the Ummah? I would still beg to differ, due to this hadith:

Usamah ibn Zayd reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I have not left a trial after me more harmful to men than women.”

Hoarding Wealth - Obsession in Humans

You're actually right. Allah has mentioned this psychology/obsession in the Qur'an in Surah Al-Imran:

"Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return."

[Quran 3:14]

The word وَٱلْقَنَـٰطِيرِ ٱلْمُقَنطَرَةِ has been translated as:

- Heaps of Stored Up [gold, silver]

- Hoarded Treasures

- accumulated piles

Don't Try To Enter Jahannam

If you don't want to be burned, you must follow the religion which God has ordered us to follow. Keep in mind, the hell we are talking about isn't what we see in movies or TV shows, according to Islamic sources:

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Your fire, which the son of Adam ignites, is only one of seventy parts from the fire of Hell.” Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2843

"The Fire was kindled for one thousand years until it reddened, then it was kindled for one thousand years until it whitened, then it was kindled for one thousand years until it became blackened, so it is dark black."

Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (2591)

Hell is eternal doesn't mean we yearn and have no choice other than to enter Hell.
God has given us the free will to choose, why would you still want to risk for the option that if you were to be dipped in for a millisecond, it will:

The Prophet Muhammad  said: {The happiest man in the world of those doomed to the Fire (Hell) on the Day of Judgment will be dipped in the Fire once.  Then he will be asked, “Son of Adam, did you ever see any good?  Did you ever experience any blessing?”  So he will say, “No, by God, O Lord!”}1

Da'wah to a Christian Lady

Sister. Thank you so much for asking. Please finish eating, complete any work before reading this. I spent 1hr writing this. May it be of benefit to you if Allah wills.

If you didn't already know, you are already Muslim but you've been deviated from the path. A very newborn is born in a state of purity in which he is ready to accept the belief in Allah and His Oneness which is the fitrah. Then, his parents either teach him according to this fitrah or take him apart from the Right Path via teaching him wrong creeds and beliefs.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be him) also said, “Every child is born with the fitrah, but his parents make him a Jew, Christian or a Zoroastrian.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Before you try to enter Islam, satan whispers thoughts like ‘its too restrictive’, ‘boring’, ‘no freedom’ to prevent you from following the religion of one true God Allah causing eternal damnation in the afterlife.

Surely Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his followers to become inmates of the Blaze. [Quran 35:6]

There is a reason you’re being attracted to Islam, in Quran:

You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews and polytheists and the most gracious to be those who call themselves Christian. [Quran 5:82]

(and you will find the nearest in love to the believers those who say: “We are Christians.”) refers to those who call themselves Christians, who follow the religion of the Messiah and the teachings of his Injil. These people are generally more tolerant of Islam and its people, because of the mercy and kindness that their hearts acquired through part of the Messiah’s religion.

Christianity preaches love and kindness. He who strikes you on the right Cheek, then turn the left cheek for Him, Bible 57:27.

And because,
The Prophet (peace and blessings be him) said in a Qudsi Hadith, “Allah Almighty says, ‘I created all My servants hunafa’ (i.e. following the original religion of monotheism), then the devils misled them from their religion and forbade them from what I made lawful for them and commanded them to associate with Me that which I have not sent down any authority for.” (Muslim)

Once you realize the truth, accept it.

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O humanity! The truth has surely come to you from your Lord. So whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. And I am not a keeper over you.” [Quran 6:104]
Trust me, when you enter Islam, Allah will make all of these worries non-existent. It’s about the initiation that’s time consuming. Ever wondered why studying is actually fun when you are in the midst of it? But when you try to leave listening to Music or watching that Tiktok reel to start studying is the hardest part, not even the studying itself? That’s just one of the many worldly parables I can compare it to.

Are you worried about people not accepting you for Islam?

Are you worried of the criticism you’ll face everyday?

If you believe in Allah, the only God, these miniscule worldly problems go away as soon as you enter the true religion:

Be patient ˹O Prophet˺, for your patience is only with Allah’s help. Do not grieve over those ˹who disbelieve˺, nor be distressed by their schemes. [Quran 16:127]

Say, “Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah—Lord of all worlds. [Quran 6:162]

Whoever Allah wills to guide, He opens their heart to Islam. [6:125]

Whenever you walk alone in the street at night sister, you may feel unsafe. But when you have your brother alongside you, you feel safe from any outside threats.

We are talking about God here.

Whenever you walk in Earth, without recognizing God, you will always be indecisive, scared, anxious, worldly problems will get the best of you etc. This is why you're indecisive right now, you don't know what to follow.

The reason Catholicism is attractive is:

1. You were born one, so you are more familiarized with it

2. If I were to enter a synagogue, I would still feel connected to the vibe, but what's all that, without feeling God's presence. Wouldn't I start doubting it?

Let me ask you, isn't God meant to be feared. Why would God punish you if you fear Him?

Why should Allah punish you if you are grateful and faithful? Allah is ever Appreciative, All-Knowing. [Quran 4:147]

God - Allah is meant to be feared and loved. Balancing the two wings of Fear of Allah and hope of mercy from Him, that's a sign of Iman 'faith' in Islam. But you know what? Let's balance it:

When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in His book which is laid down with Him: My mercy prevails over my wrath. [Hadith Qudsi 1]

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that." [Sahih Bukhari 3321]

https://sunnah.com/qudsi40 <-- get to know Allah's nature here, you'll realize all along the definition of forgiveness was restricted to Christianity. I can share a thousand more narrations. + Let me say here, when you enter Islam, you don't lose Christ, you learn the truth about him.

+ You cannot say your mother won't reach Jannah.

You surely cannot guide whoever you like ˹O Prophet˺, but it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills, and He knows best who are ˹fit to be˺ guided. [Quran 28:56]

If Allah is guiding you right now, who says he won't guide your mother. Did you before writing this question, ever ponder in your lifetime that you would consider the option of reverting to Islam? (reverting, since you're already born in the natural disposition of Islam)

The reason you are writing the post is you're willing to be guided by Allah.

DM me sister. I will answer all your questions. Hope this helped by the will of God!

The Wrong Perspective of Allah

Do you have the right knowledge of Allah? Or is it the culture of your country which has given you the description of the nature of Allah?

If you are from the Indo Pak subcontinent such as Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh.  You know what I'm talking about without even giving an introduction.

You will realize that Allah's nature has been distorted to 'Allah will forgive everyone of us at the end, even if you don't pray 5 times a day'

The amount of people who don't pray 5 times a day and barely pray Jummah, let alone Eid prayer which they pray once or twice a year are too much. Perhaps in hundreds of millions. Look at your near relatives, or even you.  Are we giving Salah the priority of our life?

You have been shown the wrong perspective of Islam. Islam focuses on Huqooqullah (The Rights of Allah) the same way as Huqooq Ul Ibad (The Rights on People). Even if you are kind and merciful to people in daily life, if you don't pray, you will end up in Hell (not a fatwa) + Allah forgives whomever He wills, but it is supported by this Quranic ayah:

“What has landed you in Hell?”
They will reply, “We were not of those who prayed,
[Quran 74:42-43]

The Duniya is a distraction from our ultimate sole purpose of worshipping of Allah. No matter how much busy you are, in any country, or any job you may consider dear to you, is it more dear than Allah SWT and His messenger?

“Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell.”
Surah Maryam Verse 59

The following ayah in the surah then says,

“Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught.”

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If your parents and children and siblings and spouses and extended family and the wealth you have acquired and the trade you fear will decline and the homes you cherish—˹if all these˺ are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and struggling in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His Will. Allah does not guide the rebellious people.” [Quran 9:24]

“O you who believe! let your possessions and your offspring not make you negligent of Allah’s remembrance. For whoso does that, they will be the losers.” [Surah Munafiqon Ayah 9]

Lower Your Gaze

Fear Allah and lower your gaze! Every woman you see on the street is your sister for the sake of Allah, although they are non-mehrams, change your mindset. They are not objects nor walking pieces of meat, 🥩 rather women with the same feelings and emotions your mother and sisters have.

It’s hard to practice what you preach, but it is a matter of resolution.  Never forget Allah is watching you,  even while you are reading this post.

You want a righteous spouse? But you keep staring at every women you see on the street. Don’t you want to show Allah that you are mindful of Him and you will, after reading this post, lower your gaze for the rest of your life? Wallahi Allah will bless your future or existing marriage, your wife will start appreciating you more, or you appreciating her. No more fights at all.

The eyes have a direct influence towards the heart. Save your heart from sins, it completely destroys barakah in your relationship with your mother, sister, or wife.

You cannot call yourself a man if you lustfully look at women, you haven’t understood Islam. Seek knowledge regarding the rights of Women and why Allah created them, their purpose and attributes. A true Muslim protects women, not view them as objects!

How to Focus in Salah

If you can’t focus on Salah, avoid excessive eating, socialization, and sleeping. These acts make our heart void of the remembrance of Allah, our beloved God and nurturer.

Replace it with reading Quran with translation (1 page per day), a beginning is better than nothing.

Replace it with memorizing 5 ayahs per day. Instead of memorizing song lyrics.

Replace music with Quran (the word of Allah) in your heart will increase concentration in Salah and developing Taqwa (consciousness or mindfulness of Allah).

Imagine dying in the state of Taqwa in Sujood during a prayer you prolonged due to the above tips.

Follow this account and all Dawah accounts in Instagram you see. Replace your for you page with Islamic advice and dawah instead of music, celebrities, partying, etc.

Fitnah and Temptation of Women

What I’ve seen in the era of beautification and liberalism, is that most men have lost their Gheerah (protective jealousy) over their women. 🙋‍♀

Fear Allah and be a man. Protect your wife from slanderous looks and men with animalistic tendencies. A woman uncovered is a lollipop to a man🍭, regardless of how pious he is.

I would like to share an Arabic poem by Imaam Al Qahtani which directly targets the innate desire and nature of man (to look at beautiful women) — but Islam only allows to look at your wife, which is rightfully yours. Before sharing the poem take this Hadith into consideration:

“No man is alone with a woman but the Shaitaan is the third one present.”

[Narrated by Ahmad, al-Tirmidhi and al-Haakim; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ (2546)

Now the poem:

Don’t be alone with a women in suspicion [of sin],

Even if you are devoted in worship like Banān (the great ascetic and Muhaddith of Iraq and Egypt) 🕍

Indeed men who stare at women,

Are like dogs circling around a piece of meat, 🥩

If the Lions do not protect those meat,

It will be devoured without recompense or value,🪙

Do not accept affection from women,

for their hearts quickly incline and attract,🫀

Do not leave anyone alone with your family,

for over women, do brothers kill one another, 🩸

and lower your eyes from the observation of women,

and the beauty of minors and young boys.

Surah An Nisa

 Surah An-Nisa (The Women)

31 July 2024

Quran 4:79
1) This contradicts with 4:78?

Surah Al Imran

 Surah Al Imran

30 July 2024

Quran 3:49

1) Aren't these godly powers given to Isa AS?

Quran 3:55

1) What did Isa AS used to differ about?

Quran 3:49
This verse is part of a broader context where Allah describes the miracles and the role of Isa (Jesus) in his prophetic mission. The verse reads:

"And [I will make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [saying], ‘Indeed, I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I design for you from clay [what is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead by permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you if you are believers.’"

Godly Powers Given to Isa AS: This verse describes several miracles performed by Isa (AS) through the permission and power of Allah. These miracles include:
Creating a bird from clay and breathing life into it.
Healing the blind and the leper.
Reviving the dead.
Providing knowledge of hidden things, such as what people eat and store in their homes.
These miracles are presented as signs of Isa’s (AS) prophethood and are meant to affirm his divine mission and the truth of his message. However, it’s crucial to understand that while Isa (AS) performed these miracles, they were granted to him by Allah’s permission. In Islamic belief, such powers do not make Isa (AS) divine but rather affirm his role as a prophet and a servant of Allah.

Quran 3:55
In this verse, Allah is addressing Isa (AS) and recounting an important conversation between them. The verse reads:

"Mention [O Muhammad] when Allah said, ‘O Isa, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] more [secure] than those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.’"

What Isa AS Used to Differ About: The verse refers to the differences that existed between Isa (AS) and those who opposed his message. These differences were primarily about the truth of his message and the nature of his mission. The people who disbelieved in Isa (AS) rejected his teachings and questioned his prophethood, while those who believed in him accepted his message and followed Allah’s guidance as delivered by him.
This verse indicates that there were disputes and misunderstandings about Isa’s (AS) teachings and his status, especially regarding his nature and his role. The promise in the verse is that Allah will clarify these differences and provide justice regarding the matters in dispute when Isa (AS) returns and all are judged based on their beliefs and actions.

If you have any further questions or need additional clarification, feel free to ask!

Surah Al Baqarah

 Surah Al Baqarah

29-30 July 2024

Quran 2:30

1) If Angels have no free will, why did they question Allah SWT?

Angels in Islamic tradition are considered beings who do not possess free will in the same way humans do. They are commanded by Allah and act in perfect obedience. Their questioning in this verse is not out of defiance but out of a quest for understanding. It demonstrates their commitment to comprehending Allah’s wisdom. The question was a way of seeking clarity about the divine plan, not an act of rebellion.

2) How can Angels purify Allah?

Angels do not "purify" Allah in the literal sense. Instead, they praise and glorify Him, acknowledging His perfection and majesty. The term "purify" here is used metaphorically to signify their constant worship and acknowledgment of Allah’s perfection.

Quran 2:31

1) What are these names?

The names mentioned are traditionally understood to be the names of various things or entities related to knowledge, such as objects, creatures, or perhaps concepts that Adam (AS) was taught by Allah. The exact nature of these names is not explicitly detailed in the Quran, and interpretations vary among scholars.

2) Is it peak unlimited knowledge?

The knowledge mentioned is vast, but not necessarily "unlimited." It demonstrates Adam’s capacity for learning and understanding as bestowed by Allah. It signifies the potential for humans to gain knowledge, but it is not indicative of absolute or infinite knowledge.

Quran 2:40

1) Why did Allah favor Bani Israel exclusively over creation?

In this context, Allah’s favor upon Bani Israel was a matter of temporal blessing and responsibility. They were given many blessings and prophets to guide them. The favor was not absolute but specific to their time and circumstances. Later, the message was extended to all humanity through Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).

Quran 2:40

1) Is it a sin to preach without practicing?

Preaching without practicing is considered hypocritical and is condemned in Islamic teachings. The Quran and Hadith emphasize the importance of aligning one’s actions with one’s words. The Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) cautioned against this behavior.

2) Who were the first people to not practice?

Historically, hypocrisy is often attributed to some members of the early Jewish tribes and hypocrites among the early Muslims, who outwardly followed religious teachings but did not truly adhere to them.

3) Why is a good word nullified just because we don't practice it ourselves?

The effectiveness of preaching is diminished if the preacher does not practice what they preach because it undermines their credibility. This is emphasized in the hadith you mentioned (Sahih Bukhari 2989), which highlights the importance of integrity and consistency in one's conduct.

Quran 2:46

1) How to become Al Khashi'oon? Any examples?

"Al-Khashi'oon" refers to those who are humble and fearful of Allah. To become one, one should develop a deep consciousness of Allah, engage in regular worship, and strive for humility and sincerity in their actions. Examples include the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and the Companions, who are often cited for their exemplary humility and fear of Allah.

Quran 2:54

1) Why is the punishment of apostasy self-execution?

The punishment of apostasy is a complex issue within Islamic jurisprudence. In this context, it refers to a severe breach of the covenant with Allah. Classical interpretations sometimes viewed it as a matter of societal stability. However, contemporary scholars debate the application of such punishments, emphasizing repentance and forgiveness instead.

2) How is repentance accepted when they killed themselves?

Repentance and forgiveness are themes emphasized in Islam, but the verse refers to a specific historical context. Repentance generally requires one to be alive and seek forgiveness sincerely. The application of repentance is more nuanced and context-specific.

Quran 2:62

1) How can they have reward with Allah if they are Mushriks?

The verse highlights that righteous deeds are rewarded by Allah. Classical interpretations suggest that the verse might be addressing people of faith who, despite their shortcomings, are still recognized for their good deeds. The concept of reward is complex and involves Allah’s mercy and justice.

Quran 2:65

1) This is, with no wrong intention, feels as if it is figurative or mystical folklore. But, it is the truth from Allah, converting Humans to Apes. Research more about this!

The transformation mentioned is a historical event described in the Quran. Some scholars interpret it literally, while others view it as allegorical or symbolic. It reflects the severity of divine punishment for disobedience, but its exact nature is debated among scholars.

Quran 2:67

1) Why did Allah command to slaughter a cow?

The command to slaughter a cow was meant to serve as a test of obedience and to resolve a dispute among the Israelites. The details and the purpose behind the command were meant to demonstrate adherence to divine instructions and humility.

Quran 2:74

1) Does this refer to landslides?

The verse refers to people whose hearts became hard despite witnessing miracles. The reference to stones is metaphorical, indicating that their hearts were unresponsive, not literal landslides.

Quran 2:87

1) How did Allah support Isa with Jibreel?

Allah supported Jesus (Isa) through the angel Gabriel (Jibreel) by providing him with divine guidance and strength to perform miracles and convey His message.

2) Is Ruh-Al-Quds the same as the Holy Spirit in the Bible?

Ruh-Al-Quds (the Holy Spirit) in Islam is often equated with the concept of the Holy Spirit in the Bible, but with differences in understanding. In Islam, it is seen as an angelic presence that assists prophets and delivers divine guidance.

Quran 2:90

1) Why did Jews want Allah to decrease His gift?

The verse suggests that some people from among the Jews expressed a wish for Allah to decrease the blessings He had given them, possibly out of dissatisfaction or as a form of rejection of divine gifts. This can reflect a lack of gratitude or a misunderstanding of divine favor.

Quran 2:96

1) Why are Jews greedy?

The verse criticizes certain attitudes rather than all Jews. It refers to a specific group that was particularly covetous and stubborn. Generalizations about any group should be approached with caution, focusing on the specific context of the criticism.

2) Why are Jews so rich?

This question is more socio-economic than religious. The wealth of any group is influenced by a variety of factors including historical, social, and economic conditions. It's important to approach such topics with sensitivity and avoid stereotypes.

Quran 2:115

1) Is this literal or metaphorical?

The verse speaks about Allah’s omnipresence and His encompassing knowledge. The "direction" mentioned is often understood metaphorically to signify that Allah is beyond all physical limitations and not confined to any specific direction.

Quran 2:129

1) Did Ibrahim AS predict or foresee the coming of Muhammad SAWS?

Ibrahim (AS) is believed to have prayed for the coming of a prophet from among his descendants, which is seen as a prophecy regarding the future coming of Muhammad (SAWS). This prayer reflects his recognition of the significance of future revelations.

Quran 2:189

1) Who and why did they enter from the back?

This verse addresses a specific incident where some people were criticized for inappropriate behavior during certain rituals or practices. The exact details are less clear, but the principle is to maintain respect and proper conduct in religious matters.

Quran 2:229

1) Mahr (bridal money given by husband to wife at time of marriage), why doesn't this exist in the Indian subcontinent, and only Jahez exists? Does Jahez have authenticity in Islam?

Mahr is a mandatory gift in Islam, while Jahez (dowry) is a cultural practice prevalent in some regions like the Indian subcontinent. Jahez is not an Islamic requirement and has been criticized for contributing to social issues such as dowry-related violence. Mahr, however, is an essential part of Islamic marriage contracts.

Quran 2:275

1) Is Riba (usury) the same as Interest?

Riba (usury) and interest are often equated in Islamic finance discussions. Riba refers to any guaranteed increase in capital, which includes conventional interest. Islam prohibits riba due to its exploitative nature, while interest in modern financial systems is often discussed within different contexts and interpretations.

And Satan will say ˹to his followers˺ after the judgment has been passed, “Indeed, Allah has made you a true promise. I too made you a promise, but I failed you. I did not have any authority over you. I only called you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; blame yourselves. I cannot save you, nor can you save me. Indeed, I denounce your previous association of me with Allah ˹in loyalty˺. Surely the wrongdoers will suffer a painful punishment.”

Hudhaifa said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be, upon him ) observing: Temptations will be presented to men's hearts as reed mat is woven stick by stick and any heart which is impregnated by them will have a black mark put into it, but any heart which rejects them will have a white mark put in it. The result is that there will become two types of hearts: one white like a white stone which will not be harmed by any turmoil or temptation, so long as the heavens and the earth endure; and the other black and dust-coloured like a vessel which is upset, not recognizing what is good or rejecting what is abominable, but being impregnated with passion. Hudhaifa said: I narrated to him ('Umar): There is between you and that (turmoil) a closed door, but there is every likelihood of its being broken. 'Umar said: Would it be broken? You have, been rendered fatherless. Had it been opened, it would have been perhaps closed also. I said: No, it would be broken, and I narrated to him: Verily that door implies a person who would be killed or die. There is no mistake in this hadith. Abu Khalid narrated: I said to Sa'd, O Abu Malik, what do you mean by the term" Aswad Murbadda"? He replied: High degree of whiteness in blackness. I said: What is meant by" Alkoozu Mujakhiyyan"? He replied: A vessel turned upside down.

The Reality of Magic (The Contract between Jinn and Human)

2:102

They ˹instead˺ followed the magic promoted by the devils during the reign of Solomon. Never did Solomon disbelieve, rather the devils disbelieved. They taught magic to the people, along with what had been revealed to the two angels, Hârût and Mârût, in Babylon.[1] The two angels never taught anyone without saying, “We are only a test ˹for you˺, so do not abandon ˹your˺ faith.” Yet people learned ˹magic˺ that caused a rift ˹even˺ between husband and wife; although their magic could not harm anyone except by Allah’s Will. They learned what harmed them and did not benefit them—although they already knew that whoever buys into magic would have no share in the Hereafter. Miserable indeed was the price for which they sold their souls, if only they knew!
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran

[1] The two angels, Hârût and Mârût, were sent to enlighten the people in Babylon so they would not confuse magic tricks with miracles. Still some people abused this knowledge, causing mischief in the land. These practices persisted until the time of Solomon, who himself was falsely accused of utilizing magic to run his kingdom, subdue the jinn, and control the wind.

Taweez are of 2 Types (Amulets)

2- Sooth Saying

“Whoever has intercourse with a menstruating woman or with a woman in her back passage, or goes to a fortune teller and believes what he says, has disbelieved in that which Allaah revealed to Muhammad (SAWS).” Narrated by Abu Dawood (3904), al-Tirmidhi (3904) and Ibn Majaah (936); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah.
