Surah Nisa 4:93

 Ngl this is one of the most direct statements made by Allah in my opinion in the entire Quran. Sometimes, Allah is so direct that it sends shivers down our spines and goosebumps to the highest degree. Read Surah Bayyinah as well. Whatever Allah has wrote in the Quran is the truth, and my Lord never errs or forgets, He has said it himself in Surah Taha. 

If a kafir kills a person, doesn’t turn to the natural path of Islam, and doesn’t repent, this is the reality for him, as Quran won’t lie, or in better words, Allah will never break his promise.

If a Muslim commits a major sin (such as intentional killing or adultery) and dies without repenting, they will be punished in Hell according to the severity or magnitude of the sin, then eventually be taken out of Hell. No Muslim will stay in Hell forever. Ref: Quran.com

At the same time, we must remember that Allah is the doer of whatever He wills. He can forgive whoever He wills regardless of the state someone died in. So let’s not takfeer around everyone we see (like calling them a kafir), it is Allah’s decision and it is His final decision alone to cast someone into Hellfire or save him and grant him paradise, not our tongues.

The Truest Christian To Ever Exist

"Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza, who, during the pre-Islamic Period became a Christian and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to Waraqa, "Listen to the story of your nephew, O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked, "Will they drive me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while."

As you can see, a True Christian is by definition, the One who submits the will to Allah, and has proper knowledge regarding the biblical scriptures, so He reverts to Islam. Nowadays, the Bible has been corrupted, so priests, bishops, or even the pope, can't trust the bible word for word. Even though Waraqah was a Christian days before his death, he pledged to Prophet Muhammad SAWS that he would support him, signalling that he may / may have not reverted to the Islam, or the religion of Abraham. Allah knows best. But I'm writing this to mainly say that if a modern-day Christian living in the 21st century was to follow Waraqah Ibn Naufal, he would convert to Islam ASAP, as Prophet Muhammad SAWS is the last prophet & messenger to mankind, after Isa (Jesus) A.S (alayhi salam).

MY OPINION:

Prophet Muhammad SAWS took part on the biggest mission to the mankind, with over 2 billion adherents of Islam alive on Earth as of 2024.

Imagine how many times our beloved prophet SAWS would have had to experience this phenomenon across 23 years of Quran revelation. Sometimes, the ayahs were revealed like the ringing of a bell, or an angel in the form of a man.

Sahih Al Bukhari 1

MY THOUGHTS: 

When the 1st Hadith of Sahih Bukhari begins with Prophet SAWS talking about the intentions of deeds. It really goes to show how doing Dawah for the wrong intentions i.e acting smart, pleasing the world, or for gaining respect/monetary gains, will x0 all your hard work that you did till your death and land you straight to Jahannam.

Surah Saba 34:50

 

34:50

قُلْ إِن ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِى ۖ وَإِنِ ٱهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِىٓ إِلَىَّ رَبِّىٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٌۭ قَرِيبٌۭ ٥٠

Say, “If I am astray, the loss is only mine. And if I am guided, it is ˹only˺ because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is indeed All-Hearing, Ever Near.”

MY COMMENTS:

This verse is proof that we should never attribute anything to our sincerity, hard-work, or talent in terms of being guided. Guidance is only from Allah. It is only due to Allah's mercy you are guided on the straight path. We have no value in this realm, we are mere flesh and bones that will decompose unless we are Shaheed (martyrs). It is Allah who knows who's most worthy to be guided, and who is truly guided till the Day of Judgement. May Allah grant us a good ending. Ameen.

Scholars say that Allah has made us Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqaat (The Noblest of All Creatures) due to various ayahs in Quran that support it, and due to Him giving us free will. Prophet Muhammad SAWS is the best of all creations, indeed. 

See how Allah says if you are astray, it is only your loss. Allah has given us all the "cards" in modern-day terms. Whether it be guidance, proofs, criterion, to let us know that we are going to meet Him when we are in our graves. If we are still lost and confused in this Duniya, it is 100% justified for us to receive the punishment accordingly. 

كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

That's how Allah makes His Revelations clear to you so that you may understand. {Surah Baqarah, v:242}

Afala Ta'kiloon? Will you then not reason? 'Takiloon' means to use our intellect and understand and ponder deeply. It means using 'aqal'. Allah wants to tell us that we need to understand and ponder over every miracle sent by Him. The biggest miracle that Allah s.w.t blessed us with is The Holy Quran. Alhamdulillah

He has provided us the Quran, as an final infallible word from Him with no contradictions, unlike the Bible and Injeel which have been corrupted among the generations by the priests, bishops, rabbis, or ruling institutions, leaders, political influencers, wicked councils, etc. to fit their own political or philosophical narratives. 

He has provided us the Sunnah, the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), the most perfect creation of Allah among mankind & jinns, and possibly other creations of Allah SWT. We don't know the unseen.

So, if we are still lost, in this modern day and age, where we can visit www.quran.com or www.sunnah.com, within seconds by moving our fingers on a glass screen through the comfort of our homes, I get why Allah says if you are astray, it is your own loss. 

Think. Contemplate. Do Tafakkur and Tadabbur, Have Taqwa 24/7. Allah sees your efforts, He only guides those who are willing to change themselves. Set the intention. Pray 5 Times A Day. Drop your ego, a pure heart is the key to finding Allah.

Surah Saba 34:12

 

34:12

وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌۭ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌۭ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُۥ عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ ۖ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ١٢

And to Solomon ˹We subjected˺ the wind: its morning stride was a month’s journey and so was its evening stride. And We caused a stream of molten copper to flow for him, and ˹We subjected˺ some of the jinn to work under him by his Lord’s Will. And whoever of them deviated from Our command, we made them taste the torment of the blaze.

MY OPINIONS:

Imagine Allah giving you control over the wind and jinn. The one who does not have the Taqwa of Allah (consciousness/fear), or an ordinary layman would most definitely misuse this power if obtained by God. Allah grants power to whomever He wills, but to Him lies all power in the heavens and Earth alone. Imagine yourself instructing a Jinn to get items from different parts of the Earth. This type of power cannot be compared to any other worldly lavish we enjoy in the 21st century.

Of course, Allah granted these miracles to Prophets only, as they were created wise by Allah and free of sin to deliver the message of Tawheed (monotheism) to different parts of the world. However, analogically speaking, if an individual were to be given these powers by Allah, he would have to be wise, mature, and not emotionally influenced by his decisions, which no man is, except Prophets of Allah. It is a heavy responsibility to be able to control the wind and Jinn's through the permission of Allah. If you have not yet comprehended the severity of controlling Jinns under your command, here's the quick facts about Jinn:

Jinns have the ability to cross nations within seconds. They have the power to influence people, Allah gave them superhuman power, they're created that way. So they're stronger than us physically and can manipulate physical object that we see it as "supernatural". It's in the Quran, where the Prophet Sulaiman A.S asked the Jinn to bring the throne of Sheba and a Jinn does so in a blink of an eye. Physically, they are way more powerful than humans. They can fly, shapeshift, possess (in worst cases), steal etc. They also eat and drink. They have long lives. Live for hundreds and thousands of years.

Now imagine being able to control them. 

It's these types of verses which are miraculous, scientific, and powerful that touch the heart Subhan Allah. May Allah grant us more understanding of the Quran and wisdom. Just reflecting on these ayahs leaves you in a different dimension in this very Earth.

Surah Qaf 50:30

 

From this, we can extrapolate the fact that Allah SWT has given life to Jahannam. It speaks, it roars, it encompasses, it tortures, it throws, it kills, it heats, it moves, it hurts, it cuts, it stabs, it shouts, it does everything what Allah has commanded to do. We don't know the unseen, but we can say that on average at least billions of people are destined for Jahannam, considering the population of the world from the time of Adam A.S. May Allah not make us one of the wicked, and may He have mercy on us, so we are saved from hellfire. Ameen.

But just imagine you fit billions of people in a dimension, it still has space for more.

It wants to burst your insides.

It wants to cut your lips.

It wants to remove your intestines.

It wants to boil your skins. 

It wants to cut your throat.

It wants to mutilate your private parts.

It wants to pierce your eyes.

It wants to pour boiling water over your heads.

It wants to smash your face with the intensity of hammers never fathomed before.

It wants to roast you till you become molten liquid with a fire 70x hotter than Earth's fire.

In the Arabic language 70 is just a shortcut for "very very big number". It's like saying in English "hell fire is a bajillion times as powerful as fire on Earth".

In the Quran and the hadith, it is described that Allah alters the bodies of the occupants of hell so that they would not only live through the torment they actually feel pain more strongly. And if your skin burns off? No problem. Allah will just create you new skin so you can go through all that torment all over again.

Are you ready to meet Allah?

Surah Qaf 50:16-18

When we clearly know that Allah SWT has created humankind, we must humble ourselves and not act boastful or carry ourselves full of pride. After all, Allah knows every thought that appears in our minds. So there's really no hiding from God. 

Notice how Allah specified that He is closer to us than our jugular vein which comprises of the several large veins in the neck, carrying blood from the head and face. 

SubhanAllah, the jugular vein is so sensitive that it has a superficial course in the neck and has no protection from bone or cartilage. Out of all other body parts, cartillages, capillaries, Allah SWT mentioned this vein specifically. 

Kiraman Katibeen (the two angels) that are attached with us permanently till our death. We can't see them as Allah has placed a veil over our eyes. Every word you speak, isolated from society, inside your bedroom, in the hallway, or your living room. It is written down. Literally, this gives me chills.

Surah Ad-Dukhan 43-46

 

According to the Quran, Zaqqoum or Zaqqum (Arabic: زقوم) is a tree that “springs out of the bottom of Hell”

The fruits of Zaqqum are shaped like heads of devils (Qur’an 37:62-68). Some Islamic scholars believe in a literal meaning of this tree grown in fire, showing the inverted flora of hell. The inhabitants of hell are forced to eat the tree’s fruits, which tears their bodies apart and releases bodily fluids as a punishment.

According to Umar Sulaiman Al-Ashqar, a leading Muslim Brotherhood scholar and professor at the University of Jordan, once the palate of the sinners is satiated, the fruit in their bellies churns like burning oil. Other scholars suggest the tree is grown by the seeds of the evil deeds of the sinners, therefore the devilish fruits are the fruits of their bad actions during their lifetime. As ibn Arabi stated, the tree stands for the arrogant self.
