Quran 14:41
We don’t want our parents to be tortured in the grave.
We don’t want our parents to go to Jahannam.
Every child is concerned about their parents Akhirah. We must try our best to convince them to pray 5x a day, make sure they are paying Zakah, and fulfilling other obligations of Islam. The same way we are concerned about our Akhirah as well.
We are grown up children now, be a means of Sadaqah Jariah for your parents, after they die. Seek protection from the torment of the grave not only for yourselves, but your parents. Also, do not forget making dua for the general ummah, innocent brothers and sisters in Palestine and other parts of the world.
Islam is not restricted to your personal boundaries. This religion cares about Huqooq Ul Ibad (The Rights of People) as much as Huqooq Allah (The Rights of Allah), although Allah is self independent and sufficient. We pray for the only task in the universe we are commanded to do by Allah. He has created Jinn and Insaan to worship Him only. Your job, education, family, friends, children, business, network, houses, land, property, should not distract you from Allah, or else they are a fitnah (trial) by Him. Salah is an obligation and a gift from Allah. Never delay your prayers or miss them, make dua for your parents always.
