The Shia and Sunni are two different sects and perhaps the two major divisions of Islam.
Both of them believe Allah is the only God and Muhammad SAWS is His messenger. So, they’re Muslim.
Shia just have some different beliefs regarding the caliphs of Islam after the Prophet SAWS death.
Cuz, they believe that the inheritors of Islam caliphate must be from the descendants of Prophet SAWS.
But Sunnis believe that caliphs can be anyone, but the first four caliphs were Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali
Which is historically correct?
