BATTLE OF UHUD
Initially, Prophet Muhammad SAWS suggested to fight from inside of Madinah. Abdullah Ibn Ubai (LA) - the head of the Munafiqeen (hypocrites), was in support of the Prophet's plan. However, his support for the plan was not based on merits of the plan but on personal benefit, because he did not want to fight. On the contrary, he secretly aimed at being far away from the fight. However, it was Allah's will that he should be, for the first time, exposed and disgraced in public. It was His will that the veil which concealed the disbelief of the hypocrites be lifted. Allah's will enabled the Muslims to recognize the snakes, which were slithering within their garments.
MAKKAN ARMY (Led by Abu Sufyan)
- 3000 Soldiers
- 200 Cavalry
- 3000 Camels
- 15 Women
MADINA ARMY (Led by Prophet Muhammad SAWS)
- 1000 Fighters (100 with armor)

Subtract 300 fighters, as they left because Abdullah Ibn Ubai withdrew
1000-300 = 700 Fighters
- 150 Archers
