This verse refers to the 11 men among the chiefs of Makkah who planned to assassinate Prophet Muhamad SAWS (naudhubillah), among them was the notable Abu Jahl who is decreed to live in Jahannam forever, and is currently facing grave punishment as I'm writing this.
Abu Jahl was too confident of the success of his devilish plan. Allah, the All-Mighty, however, in whose Hand lie the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, does what He wills, He gives help and can never be overpowered.
Writing to the best of my ability through knowledge bestowed by Allah azzawajal. Inspiring others through my work to write and propagate the message of Islam, as it is a responsibility bestowed by God. Recommending people to engage in contemplation, tafakkur, tadabbur, as we all are heading towards Allah SWT every minute that passes. We must be prepared and must present a good record in front of HIm. We must seek his refuge from the punishment and at the same time have hope in the infinite mercy of Allah azzawajal. Be the warriors, helpers, righteous slaves of Allah SWT in this world.
